During the sales process, the buyer and seller and their advisors will need to have access to these documents at various times. To expedite the sale and ensure a smooth transaction, Performance has invested in technology that will allow approved individuals to view these documents which are stored electronically at a secure, password protected site. This technology ensures that only approved individuals can look at documents which have been approved for their viewing.

Library of Forms and Contracts Performance has developed a complete library of forms and contracts needed in the sale of a business, saving our clients the expense of having their advisors draft new documents. While we have taken care to assemble these documents, we encourage all our clients to have their legal and financial advisors review all documents used in the sale of a business.

A La Carte Services Occasionally, business owners obtain a prospective buyer on their own before officially listing their business for sale. Recognizing that much still needs to be done to ensure the successful sale of the business, Performance is available on a fee for service basis to negotiate the price and terms of the transaction, assist with due diligence, draft purchase agreements and other necessary documents, and negotiate non-compete agreements and post-sale employment contracts.
