With offices in Grand Rapids and Charlevoix, Performance Business Advisors works with business buyers and sellers throughout western and northern Michigan. Performance offers a comprehensive array of services to both buyers and sellers including business valuations, business planning, and commercial real estate analysis. As a member of the International Business Brokers Association, Performance follows a strict Code of Ethics to ensure that its clients and customers receive straightforward, professional, and honest treatment at all times. Performance may be retained for engagements on a fee for service basis or for a success fee upon successful completion of a sale.

Principal Broker & Accredited Business Intermediary

Mark Andresky is an Accredited Business Intermediary and licensed Michigan Associate Broker. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, PA and studied Business and International Law at the University of Strasbourg in Strasbourg, France through a Rotary Foundation Scholarship. In his business career, he has bought, started, and managed several businesses including a national franchise. Additionally, he has held various sales management positions, most recently as Vice President of Sales for an international software company.

His business brokerage specialties range from assisting clients to buy and sell main street businesses to closely held middle market companies. He advises clients on preparing businesses for sale and helping them use real estate--leased or owned--as a tool to increase business profitability. This broad experience is now available to his clients at Performance Business Advisors.

Business Appraiser & Intermediary

Larry Baumgart has over 25 years of experience in business with 15 of those years in business valuation and business transitions services. He has appraised companies for a variety of purposes including business sales and business acquisitions. His primary experience is with manufacturing, industrial distribution, technology, health-care and service businesses. As a business appraiser and transaction advisor, Larry has participated in numerous transactions with a variety of deal structures.

I'm committed to helping clients maximize their business value as well as helping them meet their personal goals in the transaction. Every seller is different and therefore have different personal goals. Guiding sellers through all of the obstacles and factors in a transaction is rewarding allows me to add value to our clients.

Larry graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.S. in Finance. He continued his education at Northern Illinois and obtained an M.B.A. in Management. He holds a real estate agent's license as well as an insurance license.

Professional memberships and associations include the Michigan Business Brokers Association where he serves as the Secretary and the Institute of Management Accountants. Larry is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) through the Institute of Certified Management Accountants.

Larry and his wife reside in the Portage, Michigan area with their three children. Larry and his family are active in their church; Immanuel Lutheran Church - Westwood. Larry volunteers in the community on the Kalamazoo County Brownfield Authority as well as on the Kalamazoo County Economic Development Committee.
